I am picking up a 318is next week, :woohoo: ,happy about everything except it is red! I know some people like them but it was not my prefered colour (in fact I was doing everything to avoid a red one!) but I have not let it get in the way of getting a minter what I want to know is:

How much should I look to be spending if I wanted it resprayed?

AND

Will it devalue the car at all if it is not in the original colour?

if you respray it a different colour, you need to think about engine bay, boot, doorshuts. the job does not look good if these are not sprayed. and to get them done cost serious money

Yes it wil devalue the car

The cost depends on where you go to get the job done.

I know placxes that will charge Ԛ£3000 and still do a shit job and I also know places that will charge Ԛ£1500 who will do a fantastic near as factory as you can get job.

It al depends on the skill of the person doing the job and how much effort they put into preparation.

Be aware of people who will turn around a repsray in very little time.

My M5 is getting done soon and it wont be coming back for 4 weeks.

Anyway, Red E30's looks excellent if they are nice and clean so just leave it alone and spend some money on some newer BBS wheels which will make the red car look even better.
