Hi
Just wanted to say hello in my first post and say that I'm a newbie. I own a 325i convertible with just over 100K on the clock for a March 1990 model.
Website looks good!!

I'll have to dig out some pics of my car.
Yes, I've been away for sometime and forgot all what my logon details are so have come back as my very first details, which was way back when I first joined the BMW scene as Cabgirl.
I was going to be cheeky and pretend I was someone else, but then that would be a little childish!!
I've not been driving my car for a while. I had a total knee replacement of my dodgy knee in August 31st last year and since then I probably have only been driving about 1,000 miles from my last MOT. I've been suffering with depression and other medical problems, but I thought I would give it another go here and speak to my old BMW E30 mates and catch up with what has been going on.
Blame me if the weather gets bad today, that's if it does - I finally got my hard top taken off my car yesterday!!
My car has had a new soft top and had it's leather re-connolised and the rear seat stitching was coming apart, so I had that repaired a while back too. The only thing that needs doing is the rust on both the rear arches. Other than that she needs a good clean, but otherwise she is her usual goodlooking E30. Just as she has always been
Nice and white and I still get comments on how good she looks, even when she is dirty - but I just put that to her being the usual classic look.
Here is an old picture of her when she had the original BMW X-Spoke alloys
B7 - Your car looks similar to mine, other than mine has different alloys - she has Hartge Alloys - just like the ones that HartgeH27 has on his car, but I had mine redone. Although I still have a set of pristine original BMW alloys in my dad's garage. My bumpers are chrome, but have been colour coded white. These were original on the car from buying. I also have an original BMW centre armrest and a few other little BMW OEM, such as the little speakers that are in the quarterlight window.
I've still got to get my cruise control fitted, which I've had in it's box for nearly 5 or 6 yeara, if not longer!!
I'm thinking of coming to the ACE Cafe meet this Monday 30th June.
Good to hear from you all.

Off topic, Daryll - hadn't noticed that was you (NATDJ), so hi to you too dude

WOWEE - I can't believe such a welcome back.
Yes, I'm still in the Hayes/Uxbridge area.
Good to see that you are still here and that you are still enjoying your cars. I had an option of updating my car, but I couldn't, instead I'm going to be all grown up and pay off nearly all my mortgage!! Although, there are still things I need to do with my car.
I've not been driving her much, as I say from my last MOT to my renewal, I only did 1,0000 miles!! At least, I'm keeping my mileage down!! She's done just over 100K for a 1990, so I would say that this is approximately low mileage. She still runs very well and I doubt that a new Mini could drive any better. And if I wanted another updated convertible it would be something like the E36, which I'm sorry but I just hate. Unless I was to go for a lovely E46 .... but noooooo ... It's my E30 or nothing else!! LOL!! Old Skool Cool

Can,t have too many cab owners, so welcome and from the sound of things, i hope your luck and health improves.

I hope it was a BMW one too - at least I know that it will be of the highest quality and will last forever.gooner1 wrote:

I should have put in a request for an E30 - at least I know that they are of the most superior quality and will last for an eternity. LOL!!
I will have to check with the knee surgens at work weather they provide a BMW service too !
Service 1 = Knew Replacement
Serive 2 = Hip Repalcement
I wont even go into what a fluid change is

welcome...

I managed to find some old photos of the old girl. It's been a while since I took any photos of her, let alone drive her!!

New car alarm - catguard!!

One of her at nighttime
One with the old wheels on her - which I've still got in my garage for just in case usage. Don't want to let go of them!!
