just done these on me 325i took me 1hr 10mins start to finish is this ok time wise (not a rush job did it properly i am a fitter by trade) 1st time on a bmw ???

Sounds about right mate.
Once you know where all the bolts are and the sizes it takes very little time to do discs/pads.
Took me about 10mins each side of the Civic last time!

I think me and Adam (mainly Adam 
) did all 4 discs and pads in about an hour and half I think (was in a bit of a rush, did em just as the engine turned over 1000 miles 
) but Adam has a lot of practice at this, along with most e30 related things! Top bloke
