This topic has been talked about loads of times and they are illegal , Ran mine till near the end of last year and the law changed covering euro style plates in september 2007 i believe , Not worth the hassle :)

I know it sounds strange, but i got them on 1 of mine and the 1 time i got stopped with them the law complemented on how good they look on the car. Have changed them now tho for when i drive to noeth wales cause i think they are pretty strict up there!!

I had them on mine for about 6 months and the only time I had any problems was in mid Wales when a copper followed me into a carpark and asked that I removed them when I return home. Leicester police don't seem to care.
