Hi guys i am looking to see what you think my car is worth as its time to sell up as i have way to many cars and not space or money :s

The car is a 1988 320i 4 door in zinnobar red.
there are 75100 miles on the clock with all paper work from new
the car has had the top end rebuilt to stop an irritating tapping, so new cam, followers, follower shafts, belts etc.
I love the car but just cannot afford the fuel any more as i do loads of miles, she will be dearly missed.

i will add pics if someone could kindly tell me how :)

please ask questions.

Hhhm, looks nice - is it manual or auto ? Can we have pics of the interior please? Any leaks etc etc

Been thinking of getting rid of mine getting another but my 320 just keeps going, starts first time every time, all electrics work. Obviously fuel consumption could be better but I just can't justify getting rid at the mo - and most importantly the missus actually quite likes it 8O

Just fitted some bigger speakers to sort out my tappety engine winkeye

But I never rule out getting another 320 :D
Previously owned loads of old E30s, E34s, a few E36s, E32s, E39s and an E38.

Currently in a diesel Audi - miss me old E30's....

Probably £800 ish. Looks like a bright thing, needs the front lower lip fitting and a good detailed Ebay ad.

I'd go with Andy, no more than 1k.

Unfortunately, 320i and 4 door are not the best combination, though the car does look really nice.

Try the BMWCC website, lot's of 'expensive' cars on there.

Start all what? It is sad but true. 4 door 320's are generally the weakest valued E30s.

True. Only the later SE higher specced 320i, of the 4drs, do well.

I know there's not much love for the 320, especially in auto form - similar fuel consumption as the 325 without the performance. But quite a few people agree that it's the best overall E30 ? :duck:

I have a 320, there - I said it.

They are a lovely smooth limo like drive. Nothing particularly wrong with one. Unfortunately the 320 is judged against the performance and fuel economy of its counterparts. Similar economy to the zappy 325 and the performance of a four cylinder. Added to this the undesireable factor of it being a four door and it's not all good news.

The 320 remains a nice generally unmolested type car that doesn't usually attract the 'wrong' attention. Who knows, in a few years time we may all be craving a 320 as a genuine original car. They maybe the only ones left.

yea, the only thing i'll add is that 4 door is only un attractive to some people, i like 2 door don't get me wrong, but there so unpractical i like to have the 4 door, still has the looks but its practicle.

The point there is that the touring is practical AND good looking. There lies the rub, as they say.

A four door 316i/318i/320i is a different kind of E30 to a 2 door 325i. At the end of the day, lots of them were sold new so there will be buyers for them. Not everyone who likes the E30 is into them for 120 mph or lowering springs.
