Hi chaps!

I took my Sport into the specialists to have the head put back on, I was a bit scared after spending all that money of not timing it up right etc.

Towed it in using my Civic, about 8 miles. Hit the vtec in the Civic in second gear, man it was funny. I was careful though, not to jolt the car and so on.

It should be ready by next weekend!! :woohoo:

The head has been taken off, stripped down, pressure tested and refaced. One new valve, and guide. I bought a full BMW Head Set, and bolts, which wasn't cheap :x But the stem seals are in, and the remainder will be put on while it's being rebuilt!

Can't wait to get it back!

It will then be going into the bodyshop to have the arches, and scuttle sorted. Then the drivers seat base will be changed, then it's sorted. (Touchwood!)

:D

Hope it turns out good. I hope to get my head exchanged this week and as soon as I get all the new gaskets etc I'll be doing the same.

How much is a full gasket set from BMW and what parts does it include?
Ive got a long list of stuff I need.
