It seems someone else has the same problem.I have a broken key for the lock but the serial number is still on it.But you cant buy the keys on their own, they have to be with the locks. So im looking at Ԛ£120 for 4 from my local BMW garage.Rear tyres are done too-i need to get it sorted soon.Is there a cheaper way?

I'm sure you should be able to buy 4 barrels of the same spec, just not bmw, with keys for alot less than Ԛ£120 quid.

Right just had a word with a mate that used to be in the trade, he said you can get a locksmith to cut a key for the barrel if you have lost the key, but not sure if they can do it ..

as for the barrels, they used to take them out and get a new set and put them in. He said they didn't fit as well as the original barrels but they work fine.
