[quote="jaistanley"]What an excellent approach! Very diplomatic.
I personally would NEVER MESS! I could personally handle a smack in the face, even from a 5kg fist dripping in shit argos gold. I couldn't handle either being accidentally killed, chucked in a ditch and forgotten about, or at the best having my house robbed repeatedly.
This makes sense, I've no doubt that some Zoners are in fact fairly tough, I just wonder if the majority doing the talking are. I've had dealings with Jakes for years and contrary to popular belief there are a few decent ones altho' they're outnumbered. My point is that most of them learn from an early age exactly what a good hiding is, and how to take it without showing weakness or they get another for good measure. Most of them dabble in semi-pro boxing from about the age of 12 which also teaches them to give and take a hiding. I've NEVER met one in good health and with all his faculties that I would describe as soft. While not backing away, I would never rush into aggro with any of them. They also tend to have long memories.

Agreed, there are some decent ones who have respect for their environment and other's property.

Coming from farming stock i was versed from an early age about the way of the diddy. We've had several break ins and property taken, scrap and tools being the two favourites. I personally wouldnt go into a pikey camp and confront them, at least not the campsite near where i live.
