12 valves and 300cc less mate, won't sound anything like your dads (you're starting to sound like Max.... "My dads" )

I currently have a knackered magnex system which only has the rear box so this will be a more controlled sound hopefully. The magnex sounds crap till 5k due to the lack of centre box imo.

Rear box is fine if anyone wants to make me an offer

I have also been informed the system is having a slight tweek over the standard offering. I'm not going to let on yet but I think it will be a very subtle change but goooooooood :winkeye:

It wouldn't be deletion of the "scorpion" script on the tail pipes would it?

It's going to be at least 3 weeks Stu. The order was placed friday and I have been quoted three weeks lead time. Not really an issue for me as I don't use the old turd much.

I am hoping Ant can fit me in to fit the exhaust. I will be doing a little write up on my thoughts as and when it goes on. Be nice to have a thread I can update periodically, Will be a good read for anyone looking to buy a scorpion exhaust.

When i ordered my scorpion back box i asked for the le mans style but the STW were delivered instead. pretty glad really. it looks so good on the car.

I fitted my Scropion back box this morning. As soon as I get a genuine BMW one to replace it, it's coming off again.
It's far too loud. Whoever said that they're not noisy with the standard BMW centre box must be deaf! I'm sure I read somewhere that they're not much noisier than standard if you just put the back box on the BMW front-end - well mine bloody well is! My neighbours are not going to be happy when i go to work at six in the morning.
It does look nice though, and it fits well.
It'll be going on eBay in the next few weeks if anyone's interested.

Nope, It was Barry that had it without the etching.

Mine are STW trims but instead of the usual 1.5mm wall thickness of the trim, they are made in 3mm thick. Looks great and I just can't wait to get it on there now

(Quite surprised it all fits in the boot tbh, Didn't look like it would.)
