Kos for once we agree, This "Benco" appears to be the banned member "Thehotairballoon" so will be banned once again.

I have cleared up this thread from the childish insults but leave our comments. :D

All you need is........
1, Engine RPM limt
2, Top gear ratio
3, Final drive ratio (Diff)
4, Tyre size
Thats it.

That info will give you the Terminal speed of the car.
Wrong.

That's assuming the engine has enough power to push the body through the air to achieve the rev limiter in top gear.

Mass produced cars do not leave the factory able to hit the limiter in top.

Top speed is a factor of engine power and aerodynamics. Couple those to the gearing you're talking about and you have the elements that determine how fast a car can go.

I can't be ar53d to read all through this thread, so I don't know if someone has already posted this.....
Owners handbook (the one that comes with the car) says 133mph for manual and 132 for auto.
That would equate to fractionally under 6000rpm in 5th with the standard 3.91 diff and 205/55x15 tyres.
This is why I no longer drive an E30......

My Dad's Touring was showing 120mph on the clock, who knows? (A Toblerone and a Fridge is not a good combination)
