We did some work again yesterday. The summer is great to do some works on the car in the weeks off.
We finished the inlet except for the heatshield which will be made later. Also the external brakefluidreservoir is put in.

The brakelines are put through the car so after an afternoon creating the lines they we're finished.

Then offcourse it needed fluid and we pumped the air out.

There still was a large bit of wires we didn't need in the car. After finding out what was what and what we wouldn't miss we took that part out.

The engine bay looks pretty nice now. We're thinking about an e30 m3 harness cover to finish it up.

Yesterday we did some work again. We put in the M3 harness covers to protect the wiring + it looks a lot nicer.

Then we started making the body fit. Some lightweight fenders and all need some work to fit. Offcourse this will be painted in the future.

Here you see how the airfilter is placed with the grills on.

Then we made heatshield which will keep hot air from the airfilter. With the headlights replaced by metal gauze the coldair feed will be there.

Today we got the wheel studs in the mail. 80 mm ( extra long ) so we can easily use them with slide on spacers. With them we got black lugnuts.

careful with spacers, try find ones that bolt onto the hub. I had slide on spacers and ate wheel nuts for a past time.
Looking fantastic, keep the pics coming. The adoring zoners need more pics!!!

Cool reactions again, thanks! At the moment there aren't any updates because I went on a holliday. I did make a new site but at the moment it is in dutch. Maybe it's nice to have a look ( www.rotoba-racing.nl ) using babblefish o.a.
Yes they are. Sorry for the late reply but as said, I was on a holiday.LowLevel wrote:

more pics! moe pics!!! The is like teh A team for E30's!! Great work!!!!
Last week we did some work again. We took out the heightadjustments in the rear because the car was on the lowest setting still to high. Just to see how it looks. With the Muzzi Rear Subframe Bushes, the camber still is relatively low when lowering the car. When the car is finished, it will be put on scales for cornerbalancing.

Then we installed the studs. I hate the BMW bolts.

After that it was time for the clutchreservoir. Because the external brakereservoir hasn't got an exit for the clutch, we use one from a bike. Installed, filled up, "un-air" and the clutch works. On the next pictures you can see it on the rightside next to the brakebooster. And some pictures of the enginebay, almost finished. The only thing missing is the oilcooler and strutbar.

The car at the moment, you would almost think it's an E30 !

Beautiful workmanship - bet you could never pay anyone to do such a good job, it's got to come from the heart.... Aww shucks, I'm getting all choked up...
Seriously though, a lovely job.

Thanks mates!
It indeed is a prefacelift lower valance. It's just the base for the bumper and fenders to connect to.
Last week we finished the exhaust, a picture and a movie :

At the moment we are putting the body together to make it ready for paint.
