Then apparently this current dealer bought it and has done "work" to it to justify the price. No idea what he's done though. Stories of full respray/rust repair. Someone has gloss painted the sideskirts. (Should be satin) Also seems to have lost 10K miles from the James Laurence ad. But that might be a typo.

Has anyone local been to look at it in the metal?
.

Went to view this was told he only sprayed the from end and he ain't desperate to sell butt lack of space I think it's a 10k to 12k max motor

I have seen this in the flesh, the whole car has had a blow over, a couple of runs in places too (scuttle panel from memory of one) not sure if the rust is done or not as it could just be a cover up.

Stacks of paperwork which was way too much to look through, but folders worth did look impressive (now not sure if a car without problems should have so much paperwork). Does have some pictures of scuttle being done at some point.

£12k motor IMO

Old car, particularly classic/performance plus loads of history is a good thing IMO. Shows previous owners have kept on top of the upkeep & maintenance. You start to let things slide and the whole car will deteriorate very quickly.

Prices are all over the place for M3's though. I guess it's worth what someone will pay. Given this car was for sale at £16K would seem around the right mark IMO

Question is:

What's worth more the SportEvo with super low miles and limited history since it's been sitting unused in a barn for 10 years?
The Evo2 with FSH, 40K at £45K
or
"X Works" (see the build thread) completely rebuilt car? It's not exactly standard and modified cars are generally worth a bit less than factory fresh OEM.

As said above at £60K I ain't looking at E30M3s!

At £60k I would be looking else where. Do not care how special it is £60k is a different world of cars
