Nearly 2 tanks of fuel more like!

My chromie weighed in at 1160kg with the iron blocked 2.8, E36 gearbox, aircon, recaro seats,, 8)

all joking aside... chrome bumpers are lighter than the plastic ones, early chromie carpets are less than half the weight of the foam backed stuff. iirc the pre facelift bodyshell is also lighter, dont know how or why though!!

As is shown in my signature pic, she now exhibits a lovely chrome grill.

Sanity won.

She also has a Zero exhaust now. 2.5" straight through.
