I'm going to have a look around for the another diff as that seem to be my main problem.
Had a unichip fitted and tuned afew months back and it made 249bhp and 235 of torque so its got the power to run better times just need to sort out the gearing.
Can anyone tell me what other diffs fit in the E30?Nice one, do you have a build thread anywhere? Or specs on your engine
I removed the head and refurbed it with new seals, Re ground and re seated the valves, ported and fitted a CAT 284 cam.
had a custom, twin 2.2 inch stainless system made for it.
Unichip fitted and live mapped.
Twin cone air filter
Homemade alloy air box with cold air feed.
Not much more i can do on it without spending big bucks!
Would like a 6 branch for it but its a joke how much these sell for
does the Unichip setup do away with the flappy AFM?

You can set it up so it doesn't need the AFM but it only gains 2-3 more bhp so didn't see the point.
Motorworx in marlow installed and tune it for me.
A guy there called danny really knows his bm engine and a good tuner

Fuck me that feels like more than 4 years ago. That was in that sport with the tired clutch. I think i got 15.5 if i remember(who cares).DanThe wrote:Jon, I saw you pilot that E36 shitter up the strip in 2006, there is no way you drove a 12.5, you must have handed it over to an M30 driverjonb wrote:Watching 325i's going up the 1/4 is a painfull experience. I was at the bmw pod day in 2006 and i found it really boring untill a topfuel did a run.
My old skyline did a 12.5 best at the pod.
