1) Peugeot 205 gld, 1.8 non turbo D, 200K miles, 60bhp,
2) Renault 19, 16v phase 1, 137bhp, overssteered more than my E30!
3)Peugeot 205 stdt, 1.8 TD, gti brakes, suspension, bodykit, 80bhp,
4) Peugeot 405 dt, 1.9 TD, 90bhp,
5) BMW E36 325tds se saloon, 143bhp,

Jesus everybody has a massive list
this is before my current m50'd e30:
First car - pug 106 1.1 zest
Second car - E30 318iS
My 106 was pretty much mint, very low milage too. Then the bloke i sold it to has smash it up several times and the car now looks an absolute state.

Interesting thread, we probably all wish we'd kept some of our previous motors. can't remember all mine but here's a list of the ones i do
1968 1725cc Sunbeam rapier (sold)
1971 1725cc Sunbeam rapier (wrote off)
1973 1600cc Toyota celica gt (sold but really should'nt have!)
1978 1900cc Opel manta sr (sold)
1981 1397cc Renault 5 gordini (sold)
1977 1600cc mk2 escort sport (sold)
1977 2000cc Lancia HPE (sold - rusty)
1980 2000cc Fiat mirafiori sport (sold - again what was i thinking!)
1984 2000cc Opel manta gte coupe (billys etc - sold)
1986 2000cc Opel Manta gte coupe (not as good as first 1)
1984 1500cc Alfa sud cloverleaf (sold)
1988 2200cc Audi 80 Quattro (not so good -sold)
1989 2000cc MG maestro (quick but rubbish - sold)
1990 1900cc Citroen bx gti (sold)

1986 1800cc Opel manta (sold)
1989 1360cc Pug 205 xs (sold)
1990 1800cc Vauxhall Cavalier sri (sold)

It's a difficult thing to remember back, without putting on your rose coloured specs, but for me at least there is something about the 'is' that captures what the old Celica, Mirafiori and Manta's had and that's why i like it!

Current cars
Fiesta Rs Turbo, had this a while, so much fun for little money. I give it so much abuse its unreal! Just have to keep changing the gearbox's as the gears move on the mainshaft
Fiesta MK3.5 Diesel. I fitted an Escort TDi engine, upped the fuel delivery on boost and off boost, boost pressure peaks at 23 psi and holds 21psi on standard engine (gotta love Diesels!), large FMIC, steel piping with silicone ends, full new rebuilt suspension, RST bodykit, RS2000 front brakes so much more to list. Ive built it as a torquey track car on a budget. I love this car, my only project car that I have finished. Awaiting electric lift pump and injector nozzles enlarging for more power. 900 kg car with so much torque!
E30 325i Se. Got it for £200 from my G/F's uncle
E30 318i. Awaiting M50B25 when I get round to it
E28 525e. My runaround, fitted with 3.64 diff, centre box removed and drilled airbox, soo much fun!
Past cars in order:
1.1 1988 Fiesta, too rusty so I scrapped it.
1.0 1988 Metro, loved it, had 55k and handled amazing! scrapped it as i grew out of it.
1.1 1990 Fiesta, bought it for spares.
1.1 1992 Fiesta, fitted new engine into it and used it for a year.
1.0 1988 Mini, was ment to be a project but lost interest.
1.25 2004 Fiesta, had this for a while, got bored so sold it on.
1.6 1990 XR2i, loved it, fitted a 2.0 zetec into it, was a flyer! broke it up for spares and scrapped it.
1.6 1991 XR2i, wanted to restore it, couldn't be bothered, sold it.
1.0 1984 Fiesta Convertible, only approx 25 made, started to restore it, sold it.
1.2 1998 Renault clio, got it in a swap but sold it straight on, was nippy and good on fuel, handled crap tho!
1.6 1990 Honda crx, power above 6000 rpm, no thanks! swapped it for a fiesta SI
1.6 1995 Fiesta SI, used for a bit, sold to a mate.
0.49 2007 chinese moped, paid £220, used for 2 weeks, was rather fun in the warm weather, changed the clutch weights for lighter ones and tweaked the carb, sold it on for £20 profit!

in the last 17 years ive owned
X reg 1.3s mk1 astra (most reliable
always passed MOT)
C reg 1.3 mk 2 astra
E reg mk2 astra GTE 8v(loved it, not fastest, but very tidy)
J reg mk3 astra SRI
G reg mk2 astra GTE 16v(biggest heap, cost me a fortune to fix)
L reg calibra SE2 (believe it ir not, head turner, being bright yellow)
Y reg astra coupe turbo (worst to clean and keep running)
now ive a 1987 mk2 golf GTI (possibly tinkered with by GTI engineering, silverstone) and a 1972 baywindow camper
(by far the most basic, but most fun ive had out of my cars)
