229,180!!!!!
Runs perfect and has done a racelogic verified 7.2 0-60 recently! It has been a genuine daily driver all its life,I find it very hard to belive that most e30's aren't at this sort of mileage,I suspect there are a lot of lies told when it comes to selling them on.............
It seems high when you read it but its only average for the year, the service history shows that when the last keeper bought it in 97 it had about 59k on the clock as he took out an extended warranty at the main stealers,he proceeded to do 170k ish in it whilst his colletion of M3's sat in the garage,I think in the time he owned it he had every variant of m3 finishing on a csl and he ran this the whole time as daily driver(mostly his wife drove it).
There is a lot to be said for using genuine parts and looking after stuff properly. Its had a headgasket, water pump, chain etc done in that time but the engine is the same one it left the factory with.

4 POT RIGHTNESS! ( my first IS had a genuine 212k on it!)

without a doubt mate. how often to you see claims like "the cars done 150000 miles but the engine was replaced with one out of an 80000 mile car"
i wonder whats went drastically wrong with so many low mileage e30's that the engines have been removed from?
saying that i removed and binned my 80000 mile m20 2.5 engine when i had my conversion done as because i was new to e30's at that time the mechanic told me there was no market for them and i believed him.

Just over 73,000 for me. I bought her at about 54,000 5 years ago. I do around 3,000 a year as I dont use her to commute. I have every MOT since new and it only did 5 figure milage for about 2 years.

getting to 200k plus is no biggie if they are serviced with good parts over the years. Most feel like saggy old sh!t by then, my touring included.

When i compare how it drives compared to my old sport which had a genuine 66,000 on the clock when i bought it in 2004 it's 2 totally different cars. The sport was a "tight" car which is a very hard feeling to replicate in a higher miler car even with lots of love. I don't know why it just is. My touring doesn't knock or sqeek (i've done the tailgate rattle!) as the suspension is spot on and i've changed the complete interior including the carpet! but it still feels it's milege in alot of ways

The alpina felt tight when i bought it on 115k but it shall be hard work to get it back like this once its put back together! Oz is doing a good job of making a high miler shell feel like "tight" E30

you adjust the U shaped bracket on the tailgate, but only literally 1mm or so otherwise it won't shut. It's adjusted by a 10 or 13mm nut. Just loosen it with a spanner and tighten it and have a play!
