318is or 325i That is the Question?

hmmm i have driven both and the is is lighter and more agile but not better. The 325 is a heavier car with different balance to the is but once you get used to it you will like it more. The iS has better economy and slides out more at lower speeds but it also has a heavy flywheel meaning that power isnt as plentifull. You really have to rev them up to get it going where the 6 Cylinder 2.5 just has it all the time and it is effortless. End of the day you need to test drive both and see what suits your style more. Dont just look at the numbers as these are real drivers cars and it all depends on you as to which one you choose to get.

IMHO the 4 cylinders (except the m3) dont feel like real BMW's they are too revvy and dont have the same smoothness. I love the iS engine but it feels more like a golf

318iS, much more fun and less lazy. Great fun. Dont sound as good but it revs like the clappers.

im rude ignorant and have blinkers on but id go for the is hands down, its a well balanced car that aint to far from the 325 that with a few mods it u couldnt better there figures
