I normally hate the 'keep it standard flat cap brigade' , however this is one example that needs to be left well alone.

It makes financial sense.

Good idea, that way you'd keep the original wheels and tyres for concours events. You've no doubt been to the Ford Fair and seen the 3 door cosworths with original rims still with the nobbly spikes on their Dunlop D40's and the Mk1 XR2's with pristine Pirelli P6's. Sad but it gives me the horn!

I've seen a concourse series one RS turbo with brand new original michelin MXV's still with the sticky label on all four!

I agree with the Mod it brigade. As long as it's all BMW stuff go for it. I would chop it up and fit a Tech2 Kit, 15" BBS and thats it i think. Wouldn't a Tech2 looking 325 Cab with 12k be better than that ugly little thing is at the moment. I must be honest, i could't care less about the mileage. That is ugly, in the same way as a White Chromey E30 with crap wheels and 120k is ugly. Fugly fugly fugly, cant believe anyone likes it. Im actually a bit annoyed. Why am i annoyed, i aint buyin it?!?!?
