It's much easier when you live a short distance from them though and are able to constantly harrass them until they get it right.

Like someone else said before on this thread... when you're a new customer, the first service you get from them will either make it or break it, IMO, the service was way less than adequate.

There used to be a small garage near Walton-on-Thames that I used. The owner races E30 M3's in his spare time. When I first got my 316i Lux, he did a full service inc. cambelt (he had the car for 1 1/2 days and pulled it to bits to check everything for me) for Ԛ£250.
I'm not sure if he is still there tho. Last I heard he had a stroke and was off work for a while.
