let me tell u a story.....
one of our forumers here....smithy318s advertised a year plus ago quite a number of things to sell on the UK ebay and I was seriously looking for a replacement dash. He had one for sale...for 15Quid - yahoo!!!!.
Being an ebay newbie - I registered the day I posted him a question....abt delivering it to MALAYSIA, where I am residing.
Now, his reply was somewhat....well, unfriendly....BUT here's the deal.
He was simply responding badly cos there idiots lurking out there, bad personal experiences? and me - I was just a innocent and genuine buyer....NOW you know why I am so pissed with dishonest ppl like this seller.
My story ended well anyhow - I have a business associate in UK who finally bought it off Smithy318, sent it to me FOC and it is fixed in my car... I could have been nasty and smeared Smithy318 on his reply & brash pre-judgement, over-generalisation here publically but second tots prevented me doing that esp since I got what i want....just a slightly longer route!
Ebay works....but as you all say Let the buyers BEWARE. ( and especially on certain things like...CARS )
