I'm 31 now and still on my 1st e30...which i've had since I was 20....but it's the car I always wanted when growing up....due to seeing to immaculate 325i Motorsport Convertibles when I was about 15 years old, absolutely stunning...e30's were and still are, to the people in the know the car to get. Everyone wanted a e30 when i was growing up, my cousin paid £6,500 for a 325i back in the day!!
I paid £7,000 11 years ago...

I'm an oldie then, 38 and on second e30. Had this one for nearly 7 years now.
even though I could have bought a new car on what I have spent still prefer the old e30.

Currently on my second E30. First one was a Dolphin Grey 325iSE (G68 NEW if anyone knows it - was in Plymouth). Had this for about a year and then got my Sport (back in December 96) and have never looked back

Maxfield, do you not fancy an e30 project car and have 2 years to get it as you want by time you get your licence? (I doubt you will get insurance for the M3!)

I'm 24 and on my 2nd E30 (malachite green 325i SE) but lately I have been missing my first E30 - it died of terminal rust - it was an A reg 318i in bahama beige metallic - I haven't ever seen another one in that colour since.

It's OK, I'm going now.

Odly though people tell me that I haven't aged since I was 16! NEVER had problems getting served in pubs....or pulling older birds!

36 and 1st E30... turned 35 two weeks before my wife had our second kid, needed something to convince myself my life wasn't over
so went out and bought the car I wanted when I was 15!!! Well actually I wanted (and still do) and garage full of cars, but top of my list was a 325i Sport... but I like 'enhancing' my cars, so I bought a nice SE and went about personalising her. Still got a lot to do. Reckon she and I will be together for a good while yet...
which makes a change, used to change my cars every 6 months or so...
fun, but expensive!
'89 325i - was an SE but not anymore, was bronze-beige metallic (yeuch!) but now techno-violet (thankfully)
'89 Toyota Corolla GTi-16 - track, hillclimb & sprint car (yeeha!)
'08 Buell XB12Ss - American engineering at it's 'best'... good fun though
