Ta! Well, my plans are the same as any E30 owner:
Look for a car that doesn't need too much doing but isn't crazy money... view seven cars, (four snotters reliably described as 'rare' and 'investments' and 'rot free' which will all have cracked dashes and mushy sills.. The other three will be tech2's or verts that you don't really want but are looking at because apparently that's all there is left..) buy an unfinished project which a frazzled looking guy sells you with 'just a few bits left to tidy up' as you wonder why he hasn't just finished the few bits off and enjoyed motoring nirvana.. Get home with said purchase and start poking about... (cue 'time passing' montage of clock spinning and speeded up footage of said BMW on the drive on axle stands, off them, back on them, off again, eight wheel changes, three sets of suspension, a million forum posts trying to work out what is making the squeaking noise and why your blower only works on one speed and in the background a huge scoreboard with a big pound sign next to it that represents 'money spent' and quickly looks like a phone number it's got that many digits) then try not to cry as I put up posts laughing about getting the car finished for at least one show before I die of old age...

:)
perfectly describes E30 ownership for most of us 8O
if it's got t*ts or wheels it's bound to be trouble...............prove me wrong.
getting oral sex off an ugly person is like rock climbing.....don't look down ;)

Ha! I guess we're all in the same (rusty) boat here :D

Nothing wrong with racing seneka's.. I've got a set of Oz three spokes tucked away for comedic use at some point.. You need a really quick car to pull it off really.. I've a friend who used to have a cossie powered chromie with a wonky bodykit and tiger stripes (remember them!) and the laughter definitely stopped when the flag dropped! :D

All power to you for rocking them anyway, life's way too short..

Anyway, if anyone sees most of an E30 coupe for sale (six pot) do let me know! :D
