might buy a chrome set and have them refinished. remember i had an E36 325 with shadow line coloured tips on it, just wonfdered if the 1993 E36 exhaust tips were from the same factory as the last convertables??. therefore there might be a shelf of unloved 325 E36 shadowline exhaust tips in Munich. same size but less desirable part number...

is the genuine 325i a 50mm exhaust diameter. just pair up the modern model with the correct size??

right im on a mission now to find a 60mm black chrome exhaust tip thats as near as damn it to the OE shadow line originals fitted to sports. might be beamer or even Peugeot or Audi but thertes gotta be a looky likey out there.hopefully pushfit and not needing modification.
