But in that case i suggest you also ditch the powerwindows, sunroof, rearbench and all the rest of it if weight is that important! That rear spoiler is 2 tenths mate although it might give some downforce :D
you obviously haven't seen my car
Oh yes i have! Been enjoying your M52 build with with full satisfaction :D

Or don't complain about the weight of nice cold air in the face

The weight makes no difference to the cars overall performance and does not weight 30kg.

As for "I like to drive my car" well when you are sitting at 80 odd mph on the motor way your not exactly "driving" are you.

i swap lanes a bit :D

an a/c compressor isn't light nor is the bracket that holds...then all the pipes ,fan, extra rad etc....

ever weighed a full kit :?

GGGRRRRRR!
I've removed and sold several kits from my fragging days and retro fitted it to even more.

The compressor bracket is aluminium and weighs bugger all, I've had heavier sh its than what the pipe work weighs.

Yes the compresor is heavy but no more than 10kg, the fan is mostly plastic on late cars like mine and weighs about 2kg and the extra rad which is called the condensor is also aluminium weighs about a kilo.

The total weight is no more than 15kg and makes bugger
all difference to the cars performance.

The ac in Alex's tech 1 was nasty dealer fit diavia scrap and they do indeed have a steel compressor bracket and no one retro fits that scrap.

The factory system as said uses an alloy bracket.

yes, but you'd need the m40 throttle cable as 99% of cruise kits come from 6 pot cars which use a different cable
