I like that one as well and possibly better suited than using a mobile. My touring isn't near needing an alarm yet but I'll be looking for something over the next few months.

Jozi, you don't get signal in Cavan. You're drunk, go to bed.
The Internet - It has proven to be worthless, and is nothing but a repository for perverts.

Bit of a debate going on over on Dutch forum but apparently nothing is completely safe as they (thieves) like to use GPS jammers these days which will rent your tracker useless. I quess a combination of multiple systems will give you the best shot at keeping your pride and joy within your ownership!

- GPS tracker
- Ultra sonic alarm system or something similar
- Battery or/and fuel pomp disable switch
- OBCII with coded start immobilizer?
- BMW gearshiftlock if you have a manual
- Steeringlock
- A big sticker saying: If you value your life as much as i value this car you won't f*ck with it :D

You forgot to add 2 Rottweilers :D

On a more serious note Brians wire mod is the best and that tracker idea is real good.

This looks to be the same model not sure what the catch is for about £13

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Car-Vehicle-G ... 3ced13a6f1

Also about £3 or so for the cable to fit to the car.

Might order one and throw it in my 5 series to see how i get on.
