Although I currently run a touring and the balance is niegh on perfect and easy to hang the back out with loads of control, My prefrence is an early (pre face lift) 2 door. But I like a snappy challange.

Ans simon I would say a very large dead bloke :)

Sorry to thread jack a bit, just didn't want to make a new thread!

My pre-face lift 2 door will be insured in the coming weeks and seeing as its only my 2nd car (first car was a 2001 vauxhall corsa) i just don't want to push it. I know there will be a lot less traction but anything else? cheers

When you loose traction the back will try to overtake the front. If you intend to drive like this go and find a smooth field or car park to have a play. So you know what will happen rather than finding the nearest wall to the road.

Oh touring is way more planted than a 2 door.

Trim spec, car contents and tyres make more of a difference. You pay your money, you take your choice.
