The wheels look great. Going on the drop you mentioned is it not scraping its sump and exhaust everywhere? When I bought my cab it was running -60mm springs and was a nightmare to drive. -40mm on mine is riding much better but still has its moments when it comes to speed bumps.

What suspension setup are you using? Love the wheels by the way
80mm front & 65mm rear on adjustable coilovers.

thanks
Makes me question my 60mm h&r's and e92 top hats even more. Should be 70mm but look nowhere near as low as that

Your car lost a sump underneath the maybury roundabout in Edinburgh with it's last owner. A simple pothole, nothing major. That drop and tired springs is deadly.

I'm hoping the new droplinks and bushes on top of the springs and dampers last year should have sorted out the ropey ride. No idea till I can get the car off the axel stands though.

Ive got te alpinas sitting at my work place. They are in mint condition. I got then powdercoated recently in the same colour as bentley wheels. Silver with a small metallic flake. Running 195/40/17 falken tyres. Running a suttle stretch. They still look the business. If your interested in then. PM me

Ive never scraped the sump, my cousin runnin 16" with the same drop had sump clearence issues. But on 17s its fine. The car only scraped on the exhaust in the middle section & front bumper likes to catch everything. But i get that sprayed every 2 months.

The wheel measurements were very hard to figure out. But i have a friend called barney with a sark blue e30 cab in london running staggered azev wheels. And with his car decked he has arch issues. So going to his measurements i tweeked mine. From 8.5Jx17 et13 to 8.5Jx17 et18. Ive got 0mm clearence for rear brakes so i went flat face centres for maximum dish. And on fronts the azev were7.5x17 et20, i went 7.5x17 et25 to bring them out and 23mm brake clearence to still give me maximum dish on front.

Trust me after all this research and measurements. It was trully a headache, but it was defo worth it.
