I wouldn't say you've been slated. You asked for opinions on price and so far you have 3 people with a lot of e30 experience in Andy, Pete and kedge all saying the car is a £1K to £1250 value when repaired.

Asking prices on the usual car sites for e30 are high, but they rarely sell and when the do the sale price is unknown.

You may get more money breaking the car but you have to think how long it would take to sell everything and you have the car taking up space until enough parts have gone. Would be a shame to see another E30 go to the grave. Give it a good home.

i like the way people here like to slate everybody down and the zone has a good rep for it !

its not the end of the world and pretty sure they have some nice bodgy mods on theres !

well that my mind made up send it to my friend olly and let him play !

What's your problem ? :?

You asked for opinions and you got them. Opinions based on the FACTS that the car been retrofitted with a crap engine, it has crap suspension and BOTH rear inner arches are foooked.
Nobody said your car is rubbish and needs weighing, not even me ! 8O

You are obviously a sensitive soul with issues, just be thankful you have not got a four door ! :)

I think there needs to be a Wiki page made that can be linked by who ever spots these threads first...

There seems to be a few just recently when people ask opinion and advise, then claim they are being slated or having the pish taken out of them & that the zone has a rep for it

The Wiki page could just tell them to expect an answer to their questions and it may not be what they want to hear. They can always ask on a different website too... Or, they could do the research themself(themselves?)... :)

Andyboy wrote:The rear inner arches aren't beyond repair. With the outers cut off, some repair patches by my BROTHER in ivor heath this could be made and stuck in. the rest of the shell looks very tidy. With the arches done to a reasonable standard, I'd say it was £1250 plus as nice 2 door shells are so rare now.
the car can be repaired easy and with a body shop that know what they are doing can repair the inner panels by cutting a bit out or as andy says
