I've been reading about it, I see you had a choice of 3, nice spare wheel btw, I share Trev's active dislike of anything French, can't wait to hear about hopefully, another one biting the dust!

Well it seems that the Zone tradition of Spamming the
out of a thread with un-related cod-
hasn't died!
It also seems that my Inbox has gone mental with requests for wheels and diffs and questions about the whole job lot - car and all, so to everyone who's asked or sent me a message, please bare with me.
I spent all day yesterday emptying the garage and shed and laying my spares out over the drive, to take photos and also some brief ones of the car in its current form (un-washed from under the covers and seemingly on stilts, as the engine is not in the car) but it will give everyone an idea of what it is.
For anyone who IS interested, the car and parts will need collecting from Carmarthen, West Wales. You will need a trailer and at least a small van for the parts. You will NOT fit them in a car.
I'll re-fit as much as I can to the car before it goes BUT please assume that it comes as-pictured.
The one thing that I have NOT pictured (because I forgot that they were stored in the rafters) are the Mtech 1 sideskirts. However, they'll be fitted before the car goes anywhere, because it'll only take me an hour and makes such a difference to the way she looks.

p.s.
"Tuesday!" - send me a message you Bibblical Coont! You've disapeared off the face of the Earth and dont call, you dont write, you dont return my calls
Kedge, yea, I did... and I did 7000ish miles in it.... and then took it back off the road to start an engine conversion... and then did a 5-stud conversion... and then ripped the whole lot out... and then my job changed and took on greater responsibilities, so my time went out the door and I havent finished it.
Jimbob, the car isn't neccessarily in the way of them but I am always "aware" that it is there and that I havent worked on it in an eternity and having sat down and evaluated what i would need to spend to get it to concourse condition AND with a truely ridiculous engine, finished to a factory standard, I could buy a second RS4. Don't get me wrong, I dont NEED to spend that amount of money to finish it but I am a man of polar extremes and the car is an example of my polar extreme.

Update - Here are some pics (187 of them to be exact) that are uploading to my Photobucket account at the moment.
Irritatingly, the pictures of the whole car are at the bottom, despite me selecting them first.
Enjoy!

p.s. please remember that i havent washed it, and that many of the bits that are pictured will be tidied up shortly, like the dashboard for instance.

Thats about half of what I used to have.
Nice to see you Andrew!!!
I'm just writing up the advert for the car and the list of the spares now... I've forgotten how to write a decent ad' it would seem.

Well, that is a lot of stuff and the makings of a lovely car for someone. Good luck with it Scott, I guess sometimes you have to make this kind of call, seems pointless having it sitting miles away in bits.
Mark.

This is a "Bump from the past" for you all....
I've since moved back to Wales and decided to either split or sell everything with a BMW badge on that I own - A business venture has come about, which is simply too good to pass up, even though it's not exactly ideal timing, so the push now is not to finish the car, but to split it all, down to a bare shell and then sell the Sport shell as a final item.....
So.... does anyone need any morsels?

The M30 is off the road at the moment, had some issues with overheating. Been looking at E24 635's to add to my collection though.
I'll text you over the weekend to see when you're around next week.

I tell ya what, I haven't had so many PMs in 24hrs since I had a Typo on a Tech 2 kit that I advertised for £45!
What the car does NOT have is - wheels, engine, seats, dashboard.
what the car does have is solid body, E36 M3 Evo 5stud stuff, with brand new, unfitted struts/dampers/shields/shrouds/topmounts/springs/bumpstops/ eccentric bushes. Evo brakes and hubs,
5stud rear end, new bushes everywhere, every bush or joint has been replaced within the last 6000 miles. the rear end has new brake lines, springs, flexis, refurb fuel tank, new pumps, prop donuts, shields, shrouds, fuel lines, *breathe*
hang on, I just did a list for Barry (bss)... copy/paste-tastic....
and i'll tell everybody the same thing - The miscellaneous spares that I have will fetch £2500....
then add the diffs, the kit, the E36 M3 suspension stuff, and importantly, the shell.....
and I want £2500 for the lot. Everything... shell, diffs, sus, spares... basically, EVERYTHING in my garage with a BMW badge or stamp on it.
It's probably worth £4.5k plus the shell... and we all know that as these things get more and more rare in a solid condition and cars get scrapped, someone who REALLY wants a shell will pay through the nose for it. How much? I have no idea. However, I know that the last time I looked, a NEW shell (yes, new, and this one definately is NOT new), the cost was something like £8700... plus vat... for a bare shell, no insulation, no paint. nothing. BARE.
I've been out of the pricing game for a little while so I wont estimate the shell but you boys will know 2500 will be worth it for the new owner.
1st to call me and organise a date to collect it all, will need to bring a transit sized van, a trailer and either some 5stud wheels or a skate to put it on.
I WILL HELP TO LOAD IT ALL CAREFULLY but the figure is £2500... not £2499.... There will be no bartering on the pricing. I literally don't have the luxury of f**king about in typical Zone bartering timescales for discussing 50p here and there.
My new project would see me too busy to mess around entertaining people trying to swap their Giro and an out-of-date pack of Werthers Originals..... unless some of the Old Skoolers wanna tell me that times have changed ?

Now, this list wont be exhaustive (excuse the pun please)... here goes...
Solid Sport Shell. All panels are still on her. All good stuff - That's the most useful bit to someone with a rotten shitbox with all the kit or Alpina/Hartge engine or S50 or better.
Original Engine block is tucked under the workbench, so numbers COULD match if someone wanted original engine. There were no issues with the old anchor but I wanted it rebuilt. Needs a head, as I gave it to someone as I was going to do a M5 V10. Alas, no more.
Prop with new bushes, sleeves and bolts.
Under-body shields x3 sets
New fuel pumps
Refurb Fuel Tank
New pipes EVERYWHERE
E30 M3 3.25 LSD - Refurned and has done 6000 miles - rebuilt by Bosch with new gaskets, shields, reground ramps, bolts and refurb crown wheel and new seals.
E30 Med case 3.64 LSD. This was on my sport originally. Locked well, quiet, no leaks.
5-stud rear trailing arms with bushes done in last 6k. New brake lines on it. Goodridge flexis.
Subframe has 6k bushes on it.
E36 M3 Evo front hubs and brakes. Unused, (still with bmw part numbers on) E36 M3 Evo front dampers, shields, bump stops, springs, neccessary top mounts for 5-stud conversion.
Kit has new decals, bumper end caps and rubbers, even the £130 one that runs around the entire rear bumper.
I have about £450 of misc packaged small spare parts in the boot, such as clutch linkage retainer, brake pipes, etc etc etc
Also have a short-shift conversion in there with linkages.
E28 M5 engine mounts still in packaging (toyed with going alternate engine route for several options.)
Green Top Tint windscreen
Heated and Leccy everything
The complete car wiring loom has been removed, re-soldered, re-wrapped with the BMW cloth wrap (for f**k sake, don't even ask how long it took to re-solder and re-wrap these looms because it's an event that I wish to erase from my brain for evermore!)
I have about 3 lock sets.
Cat 1 Sigma Alarm/Imob with paperwork
Rear shagging blind and clips (in with misc parts in boot IIRC) with original size speaker cutouts
2 or 3 (i forget) rear mirrors with maplights
2 or 3 inlet manifolds with ICV/TB/Injector rails,
approx 5 alternators
approx 5 starters
2-3 PAS pumps
rear lights
about 6-7 ignition coils, rotors and dizzy caps, at least 3 of these are 6k miles max.
i have a spare subframe, spare SE bumpers, 1 or 2 towing setups (not the removable ones) That rogue Moonroof that I pulled out of a car in a scrap yard that I still havent bothered identifying,
more relays and switches than i can even think about, shields, shrouds, trays, centre consoles, glove boxes, auto rad, manual rad, at least 2 oil cooler setups, spare viscous, washer fluid bottles, expansion tank, AT LEAST 4 sets of brake callipers and pads, some spare discs.......
and im starting to go blank but I know I havent touched the sides of the details....
oh, and a bunch of Motronic ECUS and a few spare Chips.
and i'll tell everybody the same thing - The miscellaneous spares that I have will fetch £2500....

Absolute bargain there
, kinda glad I haven't got the space for it!
