A fairly simple explanation is, take a well maintained 318is with low miles which may well still have around 140bhp and take a 325i with starship mileage and serious service neglect,an over heating heating issue and serious oil leak with a rolling road recorded 130bhp and you have a clear winner.

Not that this was my previous engine of course :o:

This is true
We tested both mine on a long journey home
Although through the country lanes there wasnt a lot in it
Were both competent drivers who can drive quickly
I followed in the tech 2
The i.s. was a great handleing car im not knocking that although down on power
Soon as we got to a duel carriageway i was gone in the 325
Round town there wont be a lot in it
The 325 would leave a bigger carbon footprint of course :P

..a facelift Baur is officially the least council E30 you can currently buy. When a low owner low miler turns up in an weird 'individual' period colour it will be mine :) These babies were about a hundred million pounds when new 8O

Why has some pikey cut the roof off a perfectly good m3 and decided to replace it with a Millets value range tent? Such a shame!

Yes, this is correct.
