you can just buy water displacer off the shelf in any good garage. trouble is once you do start useing your wipers it gives you a glazy smear making it hard to see until the wipers fully remove the wax based film. waste of time in my book but if your clever like me, you just drive down the road with your head out the window. just wax your face and the beads of water soon disperse. just gotta work out how to stop the flys sticking to my teeth.

The only people getting close enough to your brakes to comment ( other than the odd nob head on here) will probably be stealing your wheels! And let's be honest they ain't gonna give a toss! Just leave it and stop being anal!
