You are not dealing with an underwriter,

all insurance companies will have an underwriter who are usually based in another dept and are not telephone based.

I have also worked for several companies in my 18 years in insurance im currently a Claims Adjuster for Xchanging, my dad worked as a motor claims manager for 23 years and my brother who has dealt with insurance for 20 years is currently with a large reinsurance underwriter.

The people I have spoken to had no idea what the Lloyds Introductory Test was even when I showed them my Lloyds pass and explained about Lloyds Of London. Certainly non were aware of the ACII
