Have you tried to get a trolley jack under a car which has been lowered,has got a puncture if your by yourself your F---ed you can't lift the car and push the jack under so I have piece of 2x2 block of wood cut to a foot and then place this next to the flat tyre drive the car on to the 2x2 wood thus putting jack under the car with ease.

I have a heavy duty super low trolley jack, I reckon it would still get under with a flat tyre and I'm lowered 40mm! (that also is jacking on the chassis leg at the front)

I have a mate who has one of these low trolley jacks,I still had to lift the car by the rear arch to get the jack under and it did not have a puncture we were fitting shocks.

It cant be that low a jack then, or the car is a drift-council-tramp special

6-sided 22mm socket for crank bolt amd steering wheel

32 and 30mm sockets for front and rear hubs

Went to pick up a 30 and 32 socket this afternoon, as I need to strip the hubs and backplates off my spare set of legs. neither is big enough!

SO, What size socket for a front hub nut on a 51mm strut?

£102, worth asking for a discount though. I have one of these and i like it, really low too. My only slight critism is that the cup bit has no real cupping (if that makes sense)!

saw,i think,it was this in halfords the other day, didnt think it was a bad price,concidering an emty red chest i was looking at, was £40 odd anyway, any good ? or rubbish

Stay away from this unless your looking at replacing all the tools. I bought this because as you say for the price of an empty box you can get one with tools but they are really, really cheap $hit.

Angle grinders and Dremels come in handy, but be sure to wear goggles and gloves as you don't want metal shards in your eyes

Then maybe also a blowtorch for helping to shift rusted bolts and bushes, and a MIG welder for fixing the rot - don't forget to use a mask

If the wiring needs work, get a decent soldering iron, flux-cored solder and heat-shrink wrap.
