Sorry for the misunderstanding dude, you're spot on!!wilson325i wrote:dude!! oh man you so miss understood meE30Adam wrote:Wilson, if you think the changes being made are a bad thing then you don't know how wrong you are. In a years time you will see a very different and much improved zone.,i never said changes being made to the Zone was bad, marchandising (sp) things for the zone is gona cost money
some people cant see this so they are accusing you of trying to make a profit on the zone
that is what i mean by the way thing are going it aint ever gona happen
, untill you get people to understand, that the zone will have to raise funds to do all this, stickers, key rings ,car covers ,stands at shows ,E.T.C. I even started a thread about the Zone advertising to raise fund, i dnt like either it but sometimes there is no other way/maybe there is!!.
So Adam am on your side mate

what does it matter if some one makes a small profit from merchandising from the zone? its not a charity, how many people would realisically give up some of their spare time for no profit? thats how things get done, somebody makes a decision high up and goes for it, otherwise things drag on for months with indecision.

's a great idea... just hope it can be organised!
I've never had any problem doing this sort of thing in the past - I've done it for my uni karate club & managed fine, so I'm sure the zone'll cope
& there's some good ideas for logos on the sticker design thread...

all im gonna say is good luck mate
hope this gets sorted and i have no problem whatsoever with a small profit being made as youve said it will go back into the zone anyway so is a good thing
at the end of the day everyone else makes a profit so why shouldnt the zone
supply and demand
so if ya wants goodies ya has to pay for em and im sure adam will keep the prices reasonable
and also agree a group buy would be the best way to go as like you say someone has to meet the inital costs until the zone can afford to buy in stock.. keep up the good work

Just a little update. I ordered a catalogue from http://www.fieldclassics.co.uk/ but it hasnÔš't come through yet
, I will chase them up.
Now the official E30Zone stickers have been signed off, I think the logo needs deciding upon. I think the official design would be too complicated/expensive to reproduce on a cap, fleece etc so would like to go with this if its ok with everyone

Obviously a single colour would work out cheaper and look better IMO
Will keep you advised

Yes if thats ok. If you or other member or mod would like to take this over I would happily forward the catalogue when it comes through. Like I said I dont want to tread on anyones toes.
Its just something i thought members would be interested in.

Merchandise is only to be sold via the zone team I'm affraid. This stops people trying to make money out of us (I'm not saying that's what you were trying to do) instead of it being sold via the team in the correct manner, this way we can reinvest any money made to make this a better place for you all.Cotty180 wrote:I would prefer to get E30Adam's ok before I do anything.buster wrote:i'd like a t-shirt and fleece.

Thats ok ill let a zone team member take over from here.
Probably better for a team member to do it as they can keep an eye on things.
Good luck
Paul
