Just to answer a few questions.
Of course i,m carrying on with it. I don,t give up on stuff.
Yes, there are bits missing, and bits that have been damaged/destroyed. Wing Indicator missing, Door Armrest missing, Mirror Glass smashed, Number Plate light lens sprayed over.
Every wheel/tyre covered in paint, luckily i stuck my worst set on beforehand. The Bootlid
now on the car is not the one i had,it has been replaced with one from a Black car and sprayed over.
Ollies was done by the same Dickhead, mine was already well under way before his was even
started.
Yes, i paid the bloke some money, mostly for materials.
It,s going to be taken down to bare metal, any repairs needed will be carried out, primed
then sprayed Imola Red and laqeured. Properly.
Not the best Birthday present i,ve ever had.

Glad your carrying on with it, its a bit worring that he has had the rear quarter panels off or is his welding skills better than painting
Such a shame i dont know how people like this can look you in the eye when they know they cant carry something out
the sad thing is no doubt he will do the same again somewhere else and move on, a freind of mine many years ago sent a bay window camper van to get a paint job, a similar thing happend but he never got the car back, it was recoverd a year later and the guy had been living in it, and at a new premisis let his dog live and shit in it, he just scrapped the camper as the damage was done

The law don't have to get involved. Knob jockeys like this hide behind the law and bankrupcy (after which they are not liable to any issues / debts they have up to that point).
Teach the c*nt a lesson that involves taking his clothes off, tying a tow rope to his ankle and the other end to the towing eye of my 530 sport. I'll happily take him for a guided tour of the area.
That way hopefully he'll think twice about pulling his next punters trousers down when he looks at his scars.

Spot on. To them it'll be a commercial issue around a spoken agreement. Yet they'd soon be interested though if they catch you with his bleeding scrotum in your left hand and a carving knife in your rightJhonno wrote:The 'law' won't give a flying ****.. i promise you that!B7 wrote:datourer wrote:It won't sort Gooner's car out and the way the law works you'd probably end up in more trouble than him.![]()

i take it that the car was painted/rolled/paint balled from the body line down an bloomed as it would without heat?whipsey wrote:the rain makes it look passable as a spray job it looks more like its been done with a roller in placesweknowtruth wrote:paint work in pics makes it look good u need to see it to see how shit it is

Looking at the rear light shots, has he lost the seam that runs vertical between the bumper and lens? and has he sprayed over the alarm indicator below the number plate?????
looking at all the white residue about, he's tried to recover a lot of it by flatting and machining it. I can just imaging the tossers face when the penny finally dropped that he'd f8cked it over big time!
Feeling for you mate. I really am!
