Of course, i did actually know that........ its been that long since i had an MOT failure i have forgotten the regulations

Chaos..... i know that 4k might sound a lot to track a car, but it's not doing anything else, except sit there looking sorry for itself.

What do you think about adding stuff like a roll cage, fire extinguisher is it really necessary? I could just do the mechanical mods, suspension, brakes, maybe add a couple of bucket seats etc... then it wouldn't look different, and the original seats could be kept. I know that most people would strip out the entire interior, but, c'mon, i'm not racing anyone. Plus, what you strip out is probably lighter than the roll cage that goes in!!

Roll cages are suprisingly light. You could lift the whole of mine with just one hand without a struggle...

Don't ruin a perfectly good road going Sport... give it to me and I'll swap you my track slag...

Ok, so they're lightweight, makes sense really, just expected it to be fairly chunky steel tube. Its probably the shape that gives it the strength then.

You still keep pushing your car Giles, i'll tell you what, drop a bigger engine it her, 3.5 or similar and i'll have it.

That's my plan. An M30 3.5... just got to scrape the money together for it!

So how much Ԛ£Ã”šÃ‚£ and how difficult do you think the swap would be?

A grand all in I would think. No more than that.

Think I'm going to put her on Ebay this weekend. See if that stirs up any interest...

m not saying that exactly m8.
if i had it id have no problems tracking a Ԛ£4k car.

im merely pointing out that if u cud sell it for Ԛ£4k then do it, simply because u cud get an equivalent non sport replacement with very similar bits for a lot less money - genuine sports despite not being that much different seem to command a much higher Ԛ£Ã”šÃ‚£Ãƒ”šÃ‚£Ãƒ”šÃ‚£ -

causing havoc and mayhem wherever i go
