Might be worth getting the bonnet open and snapping some pictures under there.
And looking at the ECU (under the dashboard , drivers side above the pedals), who knows, it might be something a bit more special by the looks of it

With regards to that Steering wheel, I have seen a few go on ebay for over £300 a time. I think corkey paid about £250+ for his one.
