tommo keep an eye out for:

1) timing chain and ancillaries, they need replacing after a fair while
2) Profile gasket

these are the two main faults that i see peopel discussing on this forum

change it strate away if you dont know when it was last done mine had the m3 wide arch kit on it and the riger gts bumpers and when i done the head i was gutted couse it cracked i 3 places bmw wanted 1200 for a new one there are pics of mine in the stevenage meet on 11 june
