Some of you may laugh but i can tell you it was a million times better than the e30.
Mine was a 1996 Escort 1.8SI, and I think you've been :rasta:

It went well thanks to a set of MK4 escort XR130 cam's and a 2.0 Mondeo throttle body but suffered constant electrical problems regarding the fuse box, I changed it twice

It had it's good points but reliability and 'fun' were not on the list.

I much prefered this temprimental old bugger, and kids kept nicking the front badge (I seriously considered forgetting the E30 idea and dropping a 20VT lump into this)

First car for me was a Triumph Herald GTK 547F.
The first BMW came during my apprenticeship an E21 316 KWG 757P.
Another notable one was a 1600E in the Ford purple with a black vinyl roof TLO 540G

Inbetween I had a number of French, German and Fords but since 86 there has always been at least one BMW on the fleet.

316, 525e, 535i, 2500, 316, 323i, 320i and soon to be joined by a 116d :D :D

first car was a renault 5 turbo, with a pillar made soley of fiberglass from the scuttle to the roof. ah bless jersey not having mot's! crashed that being young and foolish without a license. well, was only just over a year ago mind!

then decided fast cars with no expierience are stupid, bought a 94 1.4 clio to get some expierience, got bored quick and it kept breaking. got scrapped. then had another clio my mum bought me as a surprise, which was bad, very bad. was returned to seller and took them to court as they had described it as perfect etc. the vehicle inspector said he hadnt seen anything like it.

bought myself my 325i sport then, and a metro as a daily. i loved my metro, let all the hydragas out, had a ruthless handbrake and was so much fun. scrapped it as it was so rusty.

then a mk1 golf. only 2 cars i want to own really while being realistic. golf is turning into a slammed euro daily, the sport is a rally and hillclimb car

I've had loads of cars and some vans...all listed on here before (do a search)...

Immediately prior to me buying my current E30 (the M3) I already had an E30 325i SE 4dr (now sold) and immediately prior to that I had an E34 530i SE with M30 and manual box

The only picture I can find of it is this one taken in 2003

Image

and that's me leaning on it!

Before that one I had a Nissan 200SX S13

Image

and my racing car which was a Fiat Uno 70S

Some of you may laugh but i can tell you it was a million times better than the e30.
Mine was a 1996 Escort 1.8SI, and I think you've been :rasta:

It went well thanks to a set of MK4 escort XR130 cam's and a 2.0 Mondeo throttle body but suffered constant electrical problems regarding the fuse box, I changed it twice

It had it's good points but reliability and 'fun' were not on the list.

Well here's mine and other than an alternator it was faultless.
