Im worse than that. i dont even have a child seat but my plan is if i ever get questioned about why im in a mother/child space without a child is to put my hand to my face, scream, and run back into the store shouting "oh god i forgot little Jimmy again"

Either that or "sorry all of the single white male with a bmw spaces where taken"

It's mothers with babies / toddlers that do 99% of damage to other peoples cars in my experience. The amount of times I've been sitting in my VAN... and some mummy in a MPV has pulled in next to me and stated banging there doors against my van. I always say something to them, and they with out exception say it's only a van. Thank God it's not sign written, as I do tend to vent my thoughts once in a while 8)

I pick up a new van this week, and it's black, if anyone goes anywhere near it in a car park then i will batter them to death with my handbag

Park right next to the trolley bays, no body uses them!!!

if you are that worried bout ding's & dent's when you go shopping then why noy buy a cheap GRP/fibreclass tech2 kit of ebay to "protect" your paint work? just dont paint it then when you've had enough just sell back on ebay as "used".

i think i better lay of the  & :rasta: for a while before i post again.

I look after my car, but I'm passed being anal over bodywork. I use mine regularly and it has picked up it's fair share of dings and the odd scratch. Anoys me when I discover a new one but I don't lose much sleep. It'll never be concours but remains usable, which is more important to me.

I'm planning a bodyshop visit in the distant future and I'm sure I'll see things differently once I've spent a few quid on the paintwork...

I work in a supermarket so dont have much option!!!

I park as far away as possible and where no cars can park next to me....usually at the end of a row and next to a flower bed or something.

As for taking up 2 bays and parking in disabled or 'single parent and BABY (not 13 year old)'.....its pathetic to do this unless it applies to you and new laws are here for you to be fined.....be very careful now as NCP are patroling your local supermarkets and leaving fines on windows of any cars parked illegally.
