You wont find a PI with injection, but a 2500s is always an option.

Eh?? All PIs had injection. The 2500s had twin Stromberg carbs.
This is why I no longer drive an E30......

I think he meant I wouldn't find a PI for similar money to the other cars I mentioned - probably right! I'd be prepared to spend more on a pukka classic i reckon - every chance it might appreciate, so it ain't money down the toilet. I might start a thread on this in pub talk to save spamming this one up!

No mate, g/knobs ok, never too cold TBH.
NayC wrote:Rav, always loved the car. How did you do the grills in the bonnet?

Personnaly, I'd get rid of that chrom gear knob...
Colour code your spoiler.
Get some deep dish wheels. Genuine aplinas are nice.... but yours deserves some dish. Borbet b's if you could find some would be perfect
Bonnet was done by "Cool Louvres" down by Bournmouth, spoiler is colourcoded, and no way, Alpinas are staying, the ?Deep dish BBS's are for the E21 winkeye

I reckon Rav took those pictures where he works at the garden center, as that's where he grows his favourite pansies!

Close Dan, but alas no.
Those were taken at a guys place who's a BMW specialists .He used to "Race" Bmw's back in the day, 2002's E21 with the bodykits, single seaters, etc..etc...
He's been servicing my cars since 1991.
Next time i'm there i'll take some pics of the cars he's still got, plus some of the parts still hanging around.

Hey Rav, I'm running BBS RS's. They're only 7J though with ET25. On 205/40s

So I got it hugely wrong.... :(

I'm going widening the rears to 9j and I'm Widening the fronts to 8J. Then I'll change the tires to 205/45's on the front and and 215/45s on the rear. Maybe 225's on the rear. Should look much better then.

They look lost in the arches at the moment. and they're 16" with a 35mm drop ! :o

Nope , they look ok, coul do with a bit more of a drop, but dependant on what the roads are like round there.
I thought they were RS's, but thought they were 15"s

Yeah that's the problem... They only look ok! BBS RS's look AWESOME when they're done right. So I won't be happy till they're perfect!

I'm aiming for a replica of this car, but with a bit less width on the wheels. So I need to get my centres painted silver too.

(Oh but without the eyebrows and the E36 M3 Mirrors!)

Image

I've just bought smoked Hellas for the front of it and a set of MHW's for the rear. It's a never ending cycle!!!

Also, In Ireland. 40mm is the absolute most you can lower an e30. Otherwise you'll break the sump repeatedly.

I've got no children yet, hence the love affair with cars, but the gf wants kids next year :o:

I started on the railway at an early age and worked hard to get where I am now, I bought my house when I was 20 and spent years doing it up, it's time to enjoy myself now 8) before the gf screws it up.

This car cost the original owner serious money to build! Something silly like 50 grand back in the 80's!

Ask Pacerpete, he knows the car well.
