Nice, so it's not just me who has arguments with the mrs over E30s, or as she calls it...That F*cking Car!!( the 325) Glad to hear everyone else has the same issues!!lol.

I've just bought a 525E home so now we have 1 x E30 325 in the garage, 1 X E30 project in the garage, 1 x Rover 400 on the drive, plus 1 x 525E on the drive, and oh yeah by daily driver Skoda Octavia on the drive.

Shes a liitle displeased to say the least

, especially as i bowled up tonight with the 525 and didnnt tell her

i have non of this troble but saying that i have just put a set of 17" z3 five spokes on her e36 compact tonight so she is a happy bunny for 10 minutes

Best way to do it! I've kept many a new purchase secret until returning home with it on a trailer or A-Frame. lol.

Mate who is having problems in the bedroom read what I said first and then comment. What part of " I kept her satisfied and serviced her regularly", did you not understand. So I don't quite follw what you said about having problems in the bedroom. Anyway I am just giving friendly advice to fellow e30 zone members on how to keep there girlfriends and wifes in check and how to stop them from moaning a lot.

My other halfs a star, 7 months pregnant and all she moans about is if i come in to the house with my overalls on. Most weekend mornings its "when you going in the garage and when do you want a cuppa?" , will all change when sprog gets here though

What an entertaining read!

MR beemerbird hates all things car (serious motorbike man), including my E30. Recently he's had some problems with the six Bikes in his 'collection' so has been using my E30 for the commute to work.

He came in the other night and started going on about how the drive in 'his' car was, though....

Seeing as my e30 has been off the road for a while (18months

), i aint heard too much in the way of, 'you and that fecking car'

Ironically tho, it's getting mot'd in 2 weeks, so let the good times roll again!!!
I think she understands, but we'll wait and see....i have however done the whole, i love her more than you line

but coupled with my passion for footy, it's a marriage made in the wrong place

Agreed, though a word of caution when topping up the fluids,
please make sure you use the correct aperture when filling.
Nothing worse than a whining old box.

Mrs G has never been too bad with my E30 obsession TBH. We've been together 10 years and I've always had an E30 of sorts during that time, so I think she's just accepted it !!

Was thinking of selling the E30 a wee while back and she went beserk at the suggestion. What a girl !!

the 2nd part of your post was the same as my G/F when she saw that i had put a what's it worth type thread on here the other day.

only just got here to calm down, she make's me laugh one time she's slating the car the next she sing's it's praise i give up with her

one min its "i preferr the e30" the next its a moan about how much im working the car
but i have always been the same so the same old arguement happens and relpay "ive always been into cars and always had a e30"
