i agree with the crash thing lorschleife, u sound lucky!

the ford point is also a good one, but i guess the moral is to know your own limit and not endanger n e one else right then surely crashes would be less frequent.

i thought of another safety device: front splitters - if u think about it they do what they say on the tin - u hit a rabit and before it can spin u out of control by going under ur wheel its been split in half, meaning u stay in control

no?? :?

Ummm no
I think the rabbit would end up half mangled and all over your broken splitter
Splitters are either there
1) for looks on tarted up cars
2) for aerodynamic purposes on race cars and sportier road cars

Its not a cow scraper LOL :P

Robin

Happens often, or so I've heard.
I've had my bbs caps nicked twice, but not the splitter thankfully
I did put new clips on it all round though which holds it on a bit better
Some people put screws it to stop theft

I've driven for the best part of a year without
Just put on the slightly tatty ones I saved off my 325i, as they've been sat in the garage doing nothing.
I put some slicone sealant between the locking bits, someone here recommended it as you then need the BBS tool to remove them instead of just twisting by hand
Cheers,
Robin

8O

A 507 bhp V10 in an E30 chassis???

I have been waiting for Clarkson to review this beast and was pleased to see it put round the track by the Stig. It certainly confirms that it is truly an absolute beast in terms of speed.

I also read his review in the TG magazine whilst on the train yesterday where he described the "m" button as standing for "MotherF***er" because it unleashes the beast!

:teehee:

I disagree that it is an ugly model, I think the rear view of those pipes and shapely bodywork remind me a little of J-Lo, the saucy little minx... winkeye

an e30 with that v10 will be no quicker than the m5. the little e30 chassis will be all over the place.

as for the m6, its slightly quicker than the m5, but it doesnt do it for me. the 6 looks wrong. i like the five.

m5"s seem to be the benchmark for the performance bmw. they are always fantastic. i dont think the e46 m3 will stir my soul like the e60 would.

i agree with the e46 m3

theyr jut to common and not as desirable as old m3s or 5s, they are driven by tossers usually an come in that horrible bogie colour.

give me an e39 m5 or a e30 me evo 3 an then il be in heaven :)
