I really want a zone sticker across the back window, the two that have just been puy up by Sjoerd are what i'd go for, and maybe No.2 in the rear passenger window against the pillsr to the roof.

Guys, if you just want the plain text, the idea is to still do that as well as a logoed version - as we've had available previously...

It's either got to be
no 26 (3rd version)
Image
or no 2 the 'old' new sticker
Image

As these to me are the best designs while still staying clean looking, and cmon - its got to say old skool cool! :)
Cheers,
Robin

And having looked at the 2 side by side like that, I've got to vote for no.2

No.26 looks a bit too 'zany' for me to ever put on my car, and is missing the roundel. Also the e30zone font on no.2 is much nicer
Cheers,
Robin

Dont know about others but i think it definately needs to be a single colour line type image on clear viynl (simialr to the original one ziggy showed) but i think picking on the shark nose is a great idea as the shark nose kidney grill IS old school BMW throught and through - and everyone knows the kidney grill shape is BMW without even showing the roundel. i am personally a fan of the image you have as your avatar at the moment ziggie with just the two kidneys, some of the others with the roundel are cool but look like the E30 has been strained to much to fit the image.

One idea I thought of was to use the E and the 3 from 30 to make the kidneys (bit like the look in the old E12's and E21's where the two kidneys are joined... but then thats not the same as the e30). Another option I thought of was using the two kidneys for the o's in skool or something like that but i am hopeless with photoshop (much to my fustration).

what ever can be made form that, as some one said, less is more, keep it plain and simple and it will look cleaner and better. Some people have sent in some great images but alot of them, especially the colour ones wont make stickers or window clings realistically (but might make some cool desktop images maybe?!) Also, one last idea, someone mentioned eyebrows and or the front edge of the bonnet just in small lettering (again probably silver) just www.e30zone.co.uk would look ace. My mate has a simialr thing on the edge of his top up lights on am MR2 turbo which says 'Nurburgring' in small silver lettering and it looks awesome!

sorry for the essay, just thinking outloud. hope the input is helpful :-)

This is cool but I'd suggest making the roundel the same height (diameter) as the numbers, then swap the E30 to e30 as I reckon that e30zone.co.uk (or even http://www.e30zone.co.uk) looks cooler than E30zone.co.uk
also the overall it could do with being a bit less tall and more wide, like the banner at the top of the page without the buttons or "Welcome <username>" but keep the two black bars in place, maybe even widen them up a little.

I am a pedantic fuck sometimes :)

I'd like a load of the old ones, #1, for my PC, bird's MR2 etc.
I'm not keen on ones with big BMW and/or roundels as it's obviously a Beemer.
I like 6 & 7 but would prefer long and thin for the top/bottom of my rear screen or top/bottom of rear 3/4s in which case 22 or 23. I'm going to go for 22, can it be done on clear vinyl?

I strongly agree with Hoshy here.... this is definatly the best, 329iturbo had edited some a few posts back

failing this just plain old "www.e30zone.co.uk" would be fine for me. In fact I only want a small sticker at the bottom of my rear quarters...

Plain design, no fancy bits, but available in different colours....! (this would be best!!!)

Yep gotta agree there, its the best of the new designs by far.
I still like the original 'Old skool cool' sticker though
As it looks like thats not going to win, anyone got a spare they dont want?

Thought from a Newbie zoner to add my penny's worth.

1st - No 6 - although it's losing to 20 at the moment.
2nd - No 26.

I think a black/white (etched) contrast type thing would be quite cool.

Some good work by a lot of the guys.

I'm hooked on the Zone already, I just can't get access to Broadband at the mo - bl**dy frustrating!

Cheers

the white one with the bmw logo and text like the dealer style stickers ( very subtle and underground if u ask me  )

the black and grey one with only the kidneys on. subtle but very stylish

i also liked the black outlined side profile one with the text coming from the back wheel.. but i think it might not get seen unless it was a lot bigger

good efforts all round though :thumb:
