Well needless to say, I like it a lot!! The red one that is. Don't like the blue one though - too many doors. I can confirm that it is a rieger kit too, well the front bumper certainly is. Rieger GTS, same as mine.

If someone wants to do that with their car then let 'em. It isn't a waste of a chromie at all IMHO. Like I said in another thread it would be borin if we all had tech 2 kits etc and every E30 was standard. Nobody seems to object to throwin a turbo in or a 3.5 lump so what's with the snobbery when it comes to kits?

It's an expression of individuality and personal freedom. At the end of the day it's still an E30 somewhere under there and that's what unites us all on this forum.

depends if the kit suits and is well made or just an off the shelf ill fitting grp rice copy kit. i dont mind certain kits. the one above doesnt look to bad with some minor changes but thats just my opinion on what suits.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Some people believe it makes it look better! I love all E30's but I have seen a few which are not really to my taste. I wouldn't like to own that red one as I'd feel a bit of a tw@t driving it. Interesting to look at though and makes a good topic of conversation.

Just had another look at that purple one. That really is quite horrible. The seats are not actually that bad but I can't see much else you'd want off it.

This is a BBS body kit I luckily found here in the states. I have not seen one since the late 80's when I knew a guy that had it on his e30...

It does need some work and luckily I contacted that guy mentioned above and he still has a extra set of fog lights and turn signals lights for the kit...

Arches were definately metal, and i know that becuase i knocked one of them! Was a very well fitted kit no cracks etc...

Still had 320i badge on the rear and comfort seats!

That is a reiger GTS body kit and they only came in fibreglass.

In 1994 Max power made a project car based on a facelift 320i. It had this very body kit and the car was called project XS.

I still have some of the max power mags with it in.

Ok i knew it was some kind of reiger scrap and someone posted up that it was a gts kit so i just went with this.

my mate use to have a 320i chromie with a gts kit fitted i liked it
