i have a mate with the german pressed plates who hasn't been pulled yet. He's had his for a few months now.

andrew i have been pulled twice in the last month by the same copper he keep telling me to take them off
but they are staying where they are until i start getting loads of fines for them

Umm stating your intent to continue to commit a criminal offence under the Road Traffic Act (1978) on an open source forum (i.e. you have NO IDEA who is reading this) is not clever.

German style plates are illegal, end of. If you want to use German plates, move to Germany!

Obviously i only use my plates for shows - i just forgot to take them off!!!

just to say i have been running german plates for at least 4 years and have only had problems with one copper and the best thing was i wasnt driving my missus was so with a flutter of the eyes he let her off( double standards i know) and ive also got them on my 330 d m sport and no problems
