I remember you saying this. I think about it every time I jack up a car.gooner1 wrote:

The non visible injuries included torn shoulder muscles, bruised chest and some very unpleasant flashbacks

Christ alive Danthe - thats got to be about as close as you can get...
glad you made it.

Side impacts scare me a lot, I lost a mate at 18 to a side impact that caused a brain haemorrhage.

The worst i got was got a big section of skin burnt of my arm conncted coolant pipes wrong after a engine swap was reaching over the engine checking the pipes because its was start to overheat when one burst sparying boiling coolant/steam over the inside of my arm burnt from wrist to halfway between my elbow and armpit worst was at the inside of the elbow joint were the water blew a little pocket in the skin , took a month of daily bandage changes for it to heal up fortunatly no skin grafts necessary but the skin is still very soft on it 2 years on ,most recent got sunburned tacking up my s50 manifold

No mate, the fact that it was French classifies the injury as self inflicted.daimlerman wrote:Just dropped a rear beam on my left wrist as it finaly parted company with the damn French touring, does that count?

I smacked myself in the face taking off my Tech1 steering wheel and started bleeding freely from the nose. Wish I'd filmed it, could have got £250 easy!

Now that is funny, almost as funny as the time I was dismantling some shelves/cubby holes in a store room at my old job with the manager. The vertical planks mostly needed a tap sideways with a hammer to remove. The horizontal ones mostly needed a bit of persuasion with a hammer from underneath. While "persuading" a particularly stubborn shelf with some blows underneath from a hammer, my manager missed and tw@ed himself on the cheek with the hammer. Had to take him to hospital for 4 stitches. Not E30 related but humurous nonetheless.did some good self harm when trying to rewove the gear knob !

hmmm, I'm getting a tec 2 wheel soon, If I put my phone on the dash and film it, it might nearly pay for the new wheel, lol.
No real injuries from an e30, just some grazed knuckles and cuts from working on them. The worst was from gettin but by the sharp guide rails when removing a sunroof:(
I've hit my head off the bonnet guide rails but not as bad as the bonnet falling on top of me.

Was it your head that bent out the driver's door window frame, or was that how they dragged you out?
