£13,500 for my C2 2.7 cabriolet about 3 and a half years ago. Worth the money, total beast, the single exhaust on it is beastly!

I am going to go for it I got the cash behind me to buy it and if anything goes worng get it fixed. I emailed the owner again saying I want to take a look at it , hopping to grab a zoner who knows their Alpina well ;) so just give me a ya or nai for the thing. I recon I could porlly push for about £3800 leaving me £1200 for aanythign nasty to happen.

Get a zoner who knows what they are looking at to come with you, it could save you a lot of money if it turns out to be a turd.

I am hoping it just a case of checking for normal sighns of any E30. I am gussing a 2.7 ona close ratio box is going to be bloody rapid. I want to get the cab put away now and I just want something that not goign to be damp and cold during the autum and winter.

To set aside a budget for work is a wise idea as we are talking about 20yr cars here that will regularly need work and will costantly have areas that can be improved unless its completely striped and rebuilt.
The biggest killer of E30's now is rust so as this is also one of the most expensive things to put right to a good standard it should be paramount when inspecting any E30 for purchase with as thorough inspection as possible. If you are unsure about anything then take someone who knows what they are looking at.

Going on the F reg one as it is based on a sport the tech 2 kit it will possibly be hiding something.

The roof and sun roof tray are important areas that expensive to repair and often forgoten when inspecting a potential purchase.

My Cabs already had a large lump of money spent on it making it right. If I do get this alpina it will be my 4th e30 in 7 years and so far my cabs been the only one to cause me trouble.

There is 2 C2 2.7's the one in Swindon and then this one ( alot closer to me ) The Swindon one seems to have alot of bidding going on for it and I not going to risk blind bidding on ebay ever again after the troubles caused by my cabby.

I have noticed a zoners got a C2 2.5 for sale which I know is made from the 323i's. Bar the performance is there any real differences between the 2?

The one on ebay, I think it's the same one on the internet a couple of months ago, when parked in a driveway?
If it is, I know the seller, hillingdon motor company right? One of my family freinds, same person where i bought my audi from, the audi is perfect.... As the for add, BSS325 is right, STAY AWAY. Notice on one add, the older the mileage is stated as 61063, and the second add it is 161063, something dodgy or has he racked up 100k miles in the space of a year??!! As for when buying an Alpina, you have to pay good money for a good car.

Simon13, how much did WLN sell my C2 cab for to the owner before me, do you remember how much the add on WLN was for by any chance?
