I have let my missus drive my Msport twice, both times she has driven into the kurb.
The front valance is constantly being resprayed.

My missus actaully like my c2 2.7 alpina cab, but only on a nice day, during winter its freezing and its freezes your bollocks off.

The new RS6 I've recently bought last week hasn't even seen the garage yet, that's how much she's driving it. I'm like, bloody hell, that's my car, and the yaris is your car, and the C2 is both of ours car, and the other two are in no mans land.
But fecking hell, everytime she takes the RS6 out of the drive, I'm thinking to myself, I'm never going to get to drive it am I!?
She even drove it to work once and left me driving her yaris to work, "ON THE DAY I HAD TO TAKE 2 GUYS TO A MEETING ON THE OTHER SIDE OF LONDON WITH ME"!!!!

I'm hiding the keys tonight so she can't get in, I just hope that she doesn't send me to sleep in the garage with the dog!!!

If she does, I'm going to throw away all her shoes!!!!! winkeye winkeye winkeye winkeye winkeye

Not sure her arguement would stand up tho, as im pretty sure the japanese where also against us?

my misses had her own e30 for a while ( 318i cabby ) she loved it.. shes driven a few E30s now.. 316i tourings. 318i. 320 2 door. 325i touring and lately a 325i 2 door. she loved driving them all and I've been warned that once my sports on the road there's every chance shell be using it more than me !!!! once I've finished on the sport were both looking for another project which will be her car... she loved her cab but complained the boot wasn't big enough cause of where the roof folds into it.. so well be looking for a baur for her so she can have the roof down but still have a practical boot size

I think these days there are just as many blokes as women who don't have a clue, in fact I'm not even sure it was ever a gender issue. Whatever, you commit so much to a partner... I don't care who you are at all, that if you displayed to me so much ignorance as to be wholly ungrateful to the prospect of driving any half deceent free car given to you, that not only should you fn well walk, but I think you should be deleted from society. Your right to live, vote, have any further opinion, have babies all be denied. Failing that, just divorse quickly and keep well away.

I was taught to NEVER kick a gifthorse in the mouth. That has to be about the height of proper evil, yet I see it becoming quite a trend these days.

My ex can't stand e30's , when we were together she put up with my 318i and my lousey 320i.

She came round to see me last year to show off her new RX8 and I wa slucky enough to have both the Alpina and Cab both cleaned and highly polished sat on my drive. Best bit was when I started to move them back into the garage she asked if I could take her out for a spin lol.

My whole theory is women want what they can't have , so tell her she can't drive the thing get her a 1.1 heap of rust to get to A to B. she will soon like the cab and better still if we get a summer she will adore it.

Mine hates the Alpina too, shes wants a volkswagen Golf.

I can't be bothered getting new cars becuase she chnages her mind all the time.

So what I do for the remedy, is to go extrememly fast around corners and show how well E30s handle (lie) lol, and keep her happy.

OOH yeah, I got some new pics of the Alpina, just need to scan them in, as they're on the Kodak paper prints, and just need to put them up.

Hood down up, front back side and rear and inside.

Finally we can see if its real or not.

My missus hates her "Old car" as i have it now, she doen't like the harsh ride, the noise or the fact its really cold in the winter, but come the summer when i've cleaned it and has the hhod down, it's like "I'm taking the boys out for a spin to my moms".
Her mum lives 30miles away, figure that out

Can't be bothered to read all 3 pages of this, but i've found the best way to convince a woman to like you're e30, is to buy something far shi11er and take them around in that for a week or two!!!!!! They'll be begging for the e30 back then!!!!!!!! Lol!!!!

My gf has never actually complained about my e30.

Mind you, once we were outside her place sat in the car, engine running and in the middle of a barny. She didnt look too pleased when I told her I had to leave because the engine was overheating!

I'm female (although using by blokes user id on here)
and I love E30's more than any other.

Have had an E46 and hated it compared to all the other E30's I have owned and am so happy that I have got one again after almost 2 long years without one.

She is mad if she cannot see how beatiful they are, and what good she is doing by keeping a classic on the road!

I would hate it if my boyfriend didn't have the same taste in cars as me. I am mad for them, and if he wasn't equally as mad, I would have driven him mad by now! :D

I am female too and ADORE my e30!

My husband was the one who first convinced my to buy my car, I was dubious to say the least but after driving it I fell in love - now I think I love my car more than I love my husband. :D

My daughter also loves my car, all her friends think it is cool - 8 year olds know their stuff LOL

The E30's get way more looks than anything else I have driven around in too.

They seem to be getting pretty rare and quite a site to see when there is a decent example driving past.

My wife has had 'our' 1991 325iSport since 1999 and despite my best efforts to willingly buy her a 'little run around' (so I can get my hands on the Sport) she will have non of it, not even a pair of Jimmy Choos or Louboutins will help prize it away!!!.True Love indeed.

Are you taking about wheels or some kind of shoe that I have never heard of? Mrs86 has her shoes already actually, another gift from another family member. I don't think we are going to end up paying much for our wedding!

Even if my Mrs wanted to drive my one of my E30's I won't let her. Too many of her cars come home with 'mysterious scratches' that 'suddenly appear'.... and she insists on giving the children a 3 course meal whilst negotiating the twisties judging by the state of the inside of hers. :?

Seriously though, she's never been allowed to drive any of my E30's. She knows that, it's clear, the boundaries are there and she has her own car. :thumb:
