Anna, i,m loving the colour
Is it worth me coming over tomorrow, to just put the bare minimum
needed for an Mot, r would it be best to leave it a day or two?
Got the pics from Shaun (whipsey), my Daughter will put them up later
when she gets in.
The End is in sight.

Didnt post on this earlier as if i havnt got anything good to say i just keep quiet and there was nothing good about his work at all. It never ceases to amaze me how these people can seem to wing it through and still get work.
This now looks like its got a proper job and boy do you deserve it after having your heart broken like that. Cant wait to see some pics of it in colour.
And well done guys for taking on the challenge, I know only too well how much more work it is when following an incompetent muppet using cheap products and would usually steer clear.

Hey. Just wanted to say i have just read this from the beginning inc the original "sad looking cab" thread.
My heart goes out to you, and you have balls of steel for seeing this through.
After having crossed swords with the first idiot who did that abortion of a job, many people would have given up and moved on. I know i would have!
Your a credit to yourself.... This site.... and your car.
Cant wait to see it in colour.

Just to say thanks for all the words of encouragement,
don,t want to do a Gwenith Paltrow here, but all this
would not have been posible without the help of
whipsey, Anna and Simon.
A little taster of the colour, a suggestion from Andyboy, and which
ironically would not have happened if Ratboy had been any kind of Painter.

Anna , i, ll be over first thing Friday mate

So, went over to Annas yesterday to help putting the cab back together.
Due to the fact that RWDonly, just dumped every bolt, screw, clip, part
in various piles, the putting together is going to take longer than i imagined.
My problem now is, the Tax runs out on Monday and the MOT has expired.
Hopefully it will be back together before the end of next week, or enough of it
to enable it to go for an MOT.
Should i Sorn it now, or risk Taxing it a few days late?
Happy with Colour and finish, but as i went almost straight from a nightshift, i forgot my Camera
Also the more we put together, the more parts we discover are broken or just plain missing.
Sorry if i seemed like a Bear with a sore head yesterday Anna, Simon.

Rob - I think I would be tempted to risk it for a few days, the tax is obviously backdated anyway to the beginning of the month

Probably best to SORN it asap; you don't need further grief on top of that fiasco!

No, as long as you have the registration document, MOT and insurance certificate, you can tax it any time you like.
